Room 3 has been experimenting with solids and liquids. We made Oobleck!
When you don't put any pressure on it, the particles are free to move
about and it acts like a liquid. When you add pressure to it like making
it into a ball, the particles are forced together and it acts like a
solid. A substance that acts both like a solid and a liquid. Who would
have thought that cornflour and water could be so amazing!
Can you think of a good use for something that has these properties?
