Lots for us to think about now - where to next?
Kia ora and welcome to Room 3's blog site. Keep up to date with our latest happenings in our class. We are modelling to the children how to interact in a safe and responsible manner on the internet and we also need your feedback on the work of our tamariki. Nothing is more powerful than children responded to each others work, but also having our parental community interacting as well. See you on the blog! Mrs H

Trade Aid visit
Today we were so lucky as we had a visit from Sam who was from Trade Aid. She brought in some things from the Trade Aid shop. We had a play with the items, and found out where they were from. We did lots of level 5 thinking, having to empathise and put ourselves in the 'shoes' of another - thinking about what life can be like for those that do not have some of the things we take for granted in New Zealand. Lastly we did a great activity about 'fairness' and how that feels when you are e one that does not have the resources a.k.a. the chocolate!
